A year or so ago, ...I enjoyed this post, Christina. A year or so ago, there was a small exhibition of some of the Staffordshire hoard objects at the British Museum and they were indeed magnificent. I just loved the delicate intertwining of the gold with the garnets, especially. <br /><br />I'm so pleased that some of the objects at least have been straightened out. The official line nowadays often seems to be that you don't touch them.
