Promotional News

Sorry I am so late putting up my post but I am so excited I think my vibes gave my computer a wobbly and it needed to cool down before it would accept my post.

I have just heard that from late June to September Tesco are doing a special promotion for The Loveday Secrets. Every little helps as they say. I'm off to raid the wine rack and celebrate.

Fantastic news, Kate, well done you! Much as I love "real" bookshops, I do think it's great to be able to take a mini-break from buying the groceries and browse a bookshelf. I can't be alone in this. And just sometimes, a book might end up in the trolley alongside the kitchen rolls and cat food!

Congratulations, I shall look out for it

Thanks for your kind wishes Melinda. The good thing about supermarket sales is that they often reach a different readership.
I'm glad you said the occasional book ends up in the trolley amongst the kitchen rolls and cat food not the toilet rolls and cat litter, not that I would mind as long as they get into the trolley.

Kate, that's FANTABULOUS! Your excitement and good vibes have reverberated from the UK and across the pond to the USA. It's great to hear that LOVEDAY SECRETS will find a whole new (hungry!) audience. Brava!

Kate, how fantastic! Congratulations! Like Melinda I enjoy browsing the books along with the groceries and I know a lot of other people do too.

I too like to avoid the boring business of groceries by browsing the shelves at Tesco and other grocery shops. I've definitely sneaked a book or two in between the milk and the fruits. Guilty pleasures, you know...

Jane, Nicola and Monica, thank you for your good wishes. Its been an uplifting week for me as apart from this news I also received royalties from one of my Pauline Bentley historical Mills and Boon novels that was republished in Switzerland. I wrote it over twelve years ago. The great thing about Harlequin M&B is that they keep our novels circulating which is amazing as they have such talented authors on their list - not least our own blog members. There is no better morale booster for an author than to know that they can still reach a new readership after so many years.
