Sense and Sensibility 2008

Sense and Sensibility

As I'm sure most readers of this blog will know, there is a new TV adaptation of Sense and Sensibility coming out next year.

It promises to be a treat, as it's a mini series rather than a short film, so there should be time to develop the plot and characters.

It seems we have 3 men to drool over. There is Col Brandon (left)

Willoughby (right)

or Edward (left)

I'm not sure I can see Edward as the wood-chopping type, with or without a wet shirt, but I can't wait for the production, it should be a lot of fun.

This is an Andrew Davies dramatisation I think, is it not, Mandy? So far he seems to come out tops (imo) at catching the spirit of Jane Austen's works.

SaS is by far one of my favorite books of all time. Although I didn't like the first movie rendition of this story, I'll definitely be seeing the new version.
